USSVI-Groton Base BUILDING FUND

The Groton Base is still the only Base in the organization that has their own club house. Groton Base is very fortunate, and grateful to Joe Negri for what we have today. We would be remiss if we didn't mention that "The Club" has survived all these years through the many donations, and many hours of hard work, and tender loving care that many members have donated over the years. Renovations and improvements are ongoing. "The Club" has always been, and continues to be maintained by dedicated volunteers who selflessly devote their time and efforts towards keeping the building cleaned, and maintained for the rest of the membership.  This is in keeping with our Creed to "Perpetuate the memory of our shipmates" by maintaining a place for all of us to gather amongst all the memorabilia and reminisce about the past and discuss the future. All donations to the Building Fund are tax deductible under IRS Code 501(c)(19). Remember there is no donation too small, they all count. Your support and donations are appreciated.

USSVI-Groton Base NEWS LETTER DONATIONS

The Groton Base news letter "BOAT NOTES" is a quarterly publication that puts out all of the base news and information to the membership.  It is sent to all members by mail or e-mail and is posted on our website.  As with any publication there is a cost associated with it.  The majority of the cost is covered by members Base dues, however it does not cover them all.  In an effort to keep Base dues low and produce a quality news letter we seek local businesses for sponsorship and many members make donations. Remember there is no donation too small, they all count. Your support and donations are appreciated and they help us keep you informed.
